CEX.IO Prime Liquidity Aggregator

Crypto Liquidity Aggregator Across CEX and DEX

One crypto liquidity aggregator reaches 15+ centralised and decentralised venues. You send one order, the engine routes it, and the fill lands on the same account that holds your assets and settles your payments.

What a crypto liquidity aggregator is

A crypto liquidity aggregator reads the order books of many trading venues at once, works out where each part of your order fills best, and returns the result as one trade. CEX.IO Prime runs that engine across 15+ centralised and decentralised venues. This is not a DeFi swap router that sends your wallet to an on-chain pool. You trade one regulated counterparty, on one account, under one agreement.

One book instead of fifteen

Depth sitting on a single venue caps what that venue can fill. Aggregated depth removes the cap, so an order larger than any one book still prices and still fills. The engine reads every connected book at the moment you send the order.

One integration instead of fifteen

CEX.IO holds the venue accounts, the connections and the compliance perimeters on its own side. You keep one set of API credentials, one reporting stream and one counterparty relationship.

A counterparty, not just a router

CEX.IO Prime executes as your counterparty and keeps custody, settlement, payments and reporting on the same account. Prime trades no proprietary book against its clients, so execution stays conflict-free.

How crypto liquidity aggregation works

Five things happen between the moment you press send and the moment the trade appears in your statement. You see the first and the last.

  • Read the depth: The engine takes the live state of every connected book, centralised and decentralised, and works out how much of your size each one absorbs at what price.
  • Build the route: Smart order routing decides where each part of the order goes before any part of it moves. A 100 BTC buy can route across a dozen or more venues at once.
  • Slice and execute: Slicing keeps the order off any single book, which holds market impact down at size. You place one order and the engine handles the sizing.
  • Work around what moves: Where a venue thins out, the engine re-routes the remaining size. Where no direct pair exists, Prime triangulates through an intermediate asset and still returns one price.
  • Return one fill: Every slice comes back as one Prime fill at one volume-weighted price. You reconcile a single trade however many venues filled it.

Centralised and decentralised venues in one book

CEX and DEX liquidity aggregation matters because the two sides hold different assets and behave differently under size. An aggregator that reads one side alone leaves the other on the table.

Where the depth is

Deep order books on the major pairs, tight quoting at institutional size and fast, predictable execution. This is where most of a large BTC or ETH order fills.

Where the depth is

Where the coverage is

Markets in assets that centralised books list late or never list at all, across Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks. Prime covers 500+ assets in total, and part of that coverage exists because the engine reads on-chain liquidity as well.

Where the coverage is

What Prime absorbs on your side

Your team runs no wallets, no nodes, no bridges and no network fee management. You hold no on-chain position to reach a decentralised venue and you sign no on-chain transaction. Prime handles the mechanics of each venue and quotes a single price for the whole order.

What Prime absorbs on your side

What you receive either way

One fill, one volume-weighted price, one entry in your statement. The report does not change shape depending on which side of the market filled your order, so your reconciliation and your audit trail stay identical.

What you receive either way

What the aggregator sits on

An institutional crypto liquidity aggregator is worth little on its own if the fill then has to travel to a custodian, a bank and a payments partner. On Prime the fill never leaves the account.

Custody on the same account

Balances sit in institutional custody with segregated cold storage, and assets under custody reach $500M. Address whitelisting stays mandatory, approval policy runs single, dual or threshold per sub-account, and on-chain reconciliation plus audit logging cover the record.

Settlement on the same account

Fiat settles in USD, EUR and GBP over SEPA, SEPA Instant, Faster Payments and SWIFT. Crypto settles on-chain across 60+ networks on Layer 1 and Layer 2. One counterparty settles both sides the same day.

Financing and reporting on one ledger

Eligible clients hold a collateralised credit line against fiat, stablecoins, BTC or ETH, and trades on the line settle the same day at T+0 without pre-funding. Every operation posts to one ledger, and you pull statements by portal or API.

FAQ

It reads the order books of many trading venues at once, works out where each part of an order fills best, and returns the result as one trade at one price. CEX.IO Prime aggregates 15+ centralised and decentralised venues and executes as your counterparty.

A DEX aggregator routes a wallet transaction across on-chain pools, and you sign it, pay the network fee and hold the assets yourself. On CEX.IO Prime you run no wallets and sign no on-chain transactions, and one regulated counterparty stands behind every fill.

The engine reads live depth on every connected venue, builds a route before any part of the order moves, slices the order across venues, re-routes the remaining size where a book thins out, and returns one fill at one volume-weighted price.

Centralised books carry the depth on major pairs and decentralised venues often hold the only meaningful market in a newer asset. Reading both sides widens coverage to 500+ assets and lifts the ceiling a single venue puts on size.

The engine re-routes the remaining size across the venues still quoting. The order continues against the rest of the aggregated depth and still returns as one consolidated fill.

Prime triangulates through an intermediate asset and returns one consolidated fill at one price. You send a single order for the pair you want, and the intermediate leg stays inside the engine.

The count matters less than what sits behind it. Venues that quote at institutional size, coverage on both sides of the market, and a counterparty that holds the accounts and the settlement decide execution quality.

No. CEX.IO holds the venue accounts, the connections and the compliance perimeters on its own side. You hold one Prime account, sign one agreement, complete one onboarding and integrate once.

Through FIX 4.4 for institutional order flow, REST and WebSocket for trading, market data and account state, and webhooks to push events into your own systems. A 24/7 institutional desk supports the integration.

Both, on one account. The engine aggregates depth across connected venues, and Prime executes the fill as your counterparty. Prime trades no proprietary book against its clients, so execution stays conflict-free.

Compare effective spread, slippage, fill rate and fill time on the same order size against your single-venue baseline. CEX.IO benchmarks your own flow the same way before you go live.

Check whether it reads both centralised and decentralised venues, whether it executes as your counterparty or only routes, whether custody and settlement run on the same account as the fill, and whether it publishes execution numbers with the conditions behind them.
